The movie "Manjhi The Mountain Man" is based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi, a poor laborer from the Ghatiyal village in Bihar. Born in 1934, Dashrath belonged to a community that faced immense difficulties in accessing the nearest town, Gaya, due to a massive mountain range separating them. The treacherous terrain made it a 50-kilometer journey that took several days to complete, often resulting in fatalities. Dashrath, determined to make a difference, embarked on a solo mission to carve a path through the mountain.
