  1. Due to lack of manuals, code wheels and the like, not all SPS games could be configured and tested to the same standards as the .adf games in GameBase Amiga. They are quite likely to work well though.
  2. Playing WHDLoad games is possible using KillerGorilla's excellent WHDLoad packs.

Om Shanti Om 2007 Movie [exclusive]

"Dard-e-Disco" became a global dance hit, showcasing Shah Rukh Khan’s newly acquired six-pack abs and becoming a staple at

Shah Rukh Khan, already the "King of Bollywood," took a significant risk with this role. Known for his romantic and intense characters, Khan embraced the over-the-top nature of the genre. He played Om Prakash Makhija with a Chaplin-esque innocence, paying homage to the junior artistes of the industry. As Om Kapoor, he parodied the vanity of modern superstars, showing a self-deprecating humor that audiences adored. The film required him to transition from slapstick comedy to intense melodrama, a feat he pulled off with characteristic charisma.

In the glittering, high-stakes world of Bollywood, few films manage to capture the zeitgeist quite like Om Shanti Om . Released in 2007, this cinematic spectacle was more than just a movie; it was a celebration of the film industry itself—a loud, colorful, and unapologetically melodramatic tribute to the Hindi cinema of the 1970s and the modern era. Directed by Farah Khan and starring Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, the film became a cultural phenomenon, breaking box office records and cementing its place as a modern classic. om shanti om 2007 movie

In a heartbreaking sequence set against the backdrop of a grand premiere, Mukesh traps Shanti inside a burning set to hide his illicit affair and marriage from the public. Om attempts to save her but is thrown out of the building by Mukesh’s guards. Om dies in the street, moments after Shanti perishes in the fire. The film cuts to 2007, where Om is reborn as Om Kapoor, the son of a superstar. He grows up to be a famous, wealthy, and somewhat arrogant actor who suffers from "phobia of fire." However, his memories of his past life remain dormant until a chance encounter with an aged Mukesh Mehra (now known as Mike) triggers a flood of recollections.

The second half becomes a high-stakes game of vengeance. Recalling the massacre of his beloved Shanti, Om hatches an elaborate plan to expose Mukesh. He recruits the help of his past-life friend Pappu and his mother, alongside a Shanti look-alike named Sandy (also played by Deepika Padukone). The climax is a thrilling, dramatic confrontation on the same set where Shanti died 30 years prior, delivering a satisfying conclusion to a tale of cosmic justice. One of the most discussed aspects of Om Shanti Om is its casting. The film served as a launchpad for Deepika Padukone, who would go on to become one of the leading actresses of her generation. Her portrayal of Shanti Priya—poised, ethereal, and silent for much of the first half—contrasted perfectly with the bubbly, tongue-tied Sandy in the second half. Her screen presence was undeniable, marking one of the most successful debuts in Indian cinema history. "Dard-e-Disco" became a global dance hit, showcasing Shah

Arjun Rampal delivered a career-defining performance as the antagonist. Shedding his usual "good boy" image, Rampal leaned into the role of the ruthless, greedy producer with a menacing intensity that surprised critics.

The standout track, "Deewangi Deewangi," became an anthem not just for its catchy tune, but for its visual presentation. It featured 31 popular Bollywood stars dancing alongside Shah Rukh Khan—a feat never attempted before on such a scale. It was a meta-moment that blurred the lines between reality and fiction, showcasing the industry's unity. As Om Kapoor, he parodied the vanity of

Khan’s direction is characterized by its scale and energy. She understood that the story was inherently melodramatic, so she leaned into it. The film breaks the fourth wall, acknowledges tropes, and invites the audience to laugh with the film, not at it. Her background in choreography is evident in every frame; the film moves with a rhythmic, musical quality that keeps the viewer engaged even during the exposition-heavy scenes.
