In 2010, Star One underwent a major rebranding exercise and was repositioned as a premium entertainment channel. However, despite its best efforts, the channel struggled to regain its lost glory. In 2018, Star India decided to shut down Star One TV live and replace it with a new channel called Star Utsav.
